We went to shop for all things electronic the other day and we got a new phone for the house. It's too hightech for me man. I need something simpler. In two hours, I called like 4 people who called the house cos I didn't know how to operate the phone log thing. Also, I was shouting to myself "HELLO??? HELLOOOO?" when all I had to do was press this button.

Hello, I can't sleep and you can bet your ass that I just overdosed on Ben Mckenzie. Gosh, why's he so cute!!! Seriously. He is unbelievable. Super adorable. Lovable. Hahah. Been trying (and failing) to upload pictures so whateverrrr.

Also been quite the emotional girl the past couple of days. Imagine crying in the bus because of a song! Crazy right. Hahah. Niz was beside me and her facial expression was just wow priceless.

I realise something. Girls are.. we just love to get completely into the moment/feeling. Like just drench ourselves totally in the mood. I don't care what you think, but as far as I'm concerned that's pretty healthy behaviour! It gets quite therapeutic.

I also came to a conclusion. That I'm not so particular about looks. Really. I shocked myself too, don't worry, you're not the only one. Heh. Now I'll try my bed again. And if I'm not successful, well I guess I'll be blogging again. Or yknow. Getting it on with youtube.

Well, five minutes ago that 'once' morphed into a 'twice'. The unlikeliest thing triggered it.

Second, I've never felt that kind of jealousy before. There are different types of jealousy you know. I get jealous and paranoid, yes it happens, don't seem too shock.
I hope it's not what I think it is.
I'm soooo jealous it's ridiculous.
I wouldn't risk anything if it means I can't do that. And be that.
The stranger part about this whole thing is, I know for a fact there's nothing to get jealous/paranoid about. That's the part I'm still trying to figure out. WHY!? Is there another meaning to it?!

Cough syrup and strepsils

Today was good cos I got to hang out with nice cool people (flattering you people too much right!) for lunch at New Place and yeahhhh I got to do some Solo Shopping too! I am really hoping that my mum won't snoop around in my room (she does that sometimes, she thinks I don't know but I so know) and discover the stuff! But I think I did a good job hiding it eh.

Hopefully I won't be waking up to "Hudaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Did you just buy this!? And this!? Do you always have to spend your money like water?! etc etc etc". Hopefully.

Anyway, yes. Today, I also realised that you can't go shopping or even window shopping with just anyone. It's quite hard you know, to find a good shopping partner with a LOT of patience cos I AM Indecisive. As in Indecisive=Libra=Me.

Aniszah couldn't be any less interested , she gets tired like *snaps fingers* that and she sits on the floors of the dressing rooms while I try on stuff. -.-" Proof :-


(here's my "thank you" for being sooo helpful prom shopping with me! No sarcasms here, serious!) So you can forget about the boys already!

But I still love all of you. (:

Also, on the 18th, which was *counts* on Sunday, my family went over to Mak Som's (her mother took care of me when I was young, their family is like my second family) and whaddya know! The mommy cat gave birth!

So they have the Blackie aka Mommy Cat, Boyboy the Siamese son, no, I do not know how it ended up being a Siamese, and four kittens!

How adorable are they?! I couldn't stop squealing. Heh.

In other Cat News, my Koko loves her water FRESH. Like right off the tap fresh. Which is why I sometimes leave the kitchen sink tap on very very very slightly, leave, then come back to switch it off ten minutes later. Cos see, this cat seems to have some kind of sensor. She just knows when it's on.

You can tell when she just had her drink. Cos she'd be soaking wet!

Since we're currently visiting the kitchen (sort of), let's get on with The Kitchen. That makes no sense whatsoever but anyway, since yesterday yesterday night (and it was at it's peak last night!), I've been having this terrible terrible cough/sore throat/runny nose, basically I was sick left right up down.

The throat's the killer. Each time I sneezed or coughed, the pain doubles! ): It hurt so bad I'd have exchanged a pair of shoes for someone to make it better!

On second thought, maybe not. But it really did hurt. It hurt so much that I dragged my brother from the computer to follow me to 7-11 to get Breacol and Strepsils. It was 1.30 in the morning. And the worse part is, the clinic's all closed today so I couldn't go to the doctor! Poor me right.

But it's much better now. This is probably why.


Yes, it was full just last night. I know it says only three times a day 5mlx2 each time, but I had to do what I had to do.

Oh you see that skin, it's the same she's been standing in

It has gotten so bad.

I cannot talk to my mother like a sane, rational human being. No, it's no where near possible and within seconds, it'll burst into this crazy verbal fight and we'll be at it like animals. Animals.

We simply can't communicate. I wonder when it was that my friend chose to leave me.

She doesn't understand what I'm saying, she pinpoints and makes ridiculous assumptions. I can't be bothered to explain since she won't get it anyway, I get defensive and the whole shit repeats itself.

Sometimes, it'll get to a point where I block out her voice completely. The saddest part is, it's so possible. I can actually shut her off.

It's like. Harping. Harping over things that aren't harp-worthy. I feel like screaming "Just drop it already". Wait I think I already have, I can't really remember. See, things are so bad and The Brother isn't making things better! He seems to bloody enjoy it.

It wouldn't hurt to talk about the good things once in a while, encourage, and appreciate. Instead of just going on and on about the bad stuff. I honestly believe she just sees what she wishes to see and ignores the rest. And that gets pretty tough.

I know what it looks like, the typical mother-daughter fights, but it's not normal for me, for us! It isn't! We're more like the best mother-daughter pair ever, I can (or used to) talk to her about everything. We're the kind that gossips together, think together, discuss together, everything together! We're the kind that every girl/mother envies and wishes to be.

But all that's changed. This part needs some getting used to, I understand. But I want the old us back. I'm really starting to miss it. I hope things improve. I need them to improve.

Like a flitting butterfly

I've lost friends.

I think losing them, is like, walking without looking where you're going, missing a step and having your foot go down that miserable gap between the drain covers.

First your mind goes blank, cos it was so unexpected and gosh, it happened too fast. Then, you realise what's happened and you are at a serious loss for words and you dont know how to react.

You just don't know what to do.

But you can't stop people from staring, laughing or judging, you can't stop yourself from turning red, you can't unfall yourself, you can't turn back time to make yourself more aware of your surroundings.

You just can't.

You just have to get up, brush off yourself, hold your head high, and walk away.

There's nothing much to say or do. Besides, if you try to smile at those strangers who've stared, laughed or judged (you dumb girl, can't you see where you're going?) they won't or rather can't unstare, unlaugh, unjudge.

So just let it go, and walk away. Nice while it lasted, but like a butterfly, they'll flit to some place else.

All's well that ends swell

So yesterday was pretty good I must say. (:

Did town with Siti and whoa. The entire top floor of Shaw was crawling with CJ/RJ people. It's like their playground. Lol. I tried to be early, really. Well, 1 hour isnt that bad right? Everyone needs some alone time! :P

Anyway, caught Epic Movie which is like the twin of Date Movie and a less funnier, less lame, less crude version of the Scary Movies. Yup. Still, it was a bag of laughs. (Lucy acted in that ep in Heroes! I. am. so! observant.)

After the movie, walked around town, the usual. And I'm again reminded of my no money situation. Sucks ok. Imagine, everywhere you go you see hot shoes, pretty clothes, more hot shoes, nice accessories.. My goodness. I'm amazed I didnt end up tearing out my hair in frustration.

It was nice lah. We kept giggling and laughing and lovely crap like that. (:

I wore my favourite heels which also happen to be the pair that really really kill. This pair, is serious. It will give my papa toe blisters so big and red that I cant help but pop, and then the skin starts to tear, and then the lovely red flesh is bared for the evil world to attack.

Not only that, there's the standard hurting at the the back of your feet. (hahah, that's why we, Diana, Fairuz, Clara too, carry plasters everywhere we go)

But whatever, everything has a price, no? Dont you just love how girls do things that are so dumb? (:

Got home, and the plan was to meet up with two of my favourite people later the night. So I bathed, didnt remove my eye makeup (cos I did it so nicely, hahah), then placed my ass in front of the tv, killing time before I get out of the house again.

THEN, got the sms and we kinda cancelled it, long story. While watching some show on Discovery Travel and Living, I fell asleep. Cos see, I slept real late the night before, but had to get up early which equates to Lack of Sleep+Fugly Eyes.

THEN. The bugger(s) decided to call and ask me to just come on down. I said no initially cos I was soooooo no mood already and would just like to get on with my sleep yknow?

But they begged and begged and begged (HAHAH I love it when people beg me). So I went "you really want me to come huh?" and of course they said yes. Sucking up does you good ok.

I left the house at nine.. the bus took forever to come, so it's not my fault I came that late!

Anyway, met New Person also, who told me a totally different story from Niz! Hahah. Chilling is good for the soul. (:

Free strawberry cheesecake + chocolate + great friend + beautiful night + staircase + anyhowly using the tables and chairs outside that bar so we can eat our cheesecake properly + apartment with spoilt clocks on the keypad thingy + "going back in time" + not having to come out a single cent with the exception of transport = Happy Huda :D

We lazed about at the Very Very Clean Staircase, lying down even, it's clean lah! Talked about this and that and yeah, it was all good. (: Mellow is very very good.

Took the 12+ bus back home and continued with my sleep. Yay for good days!

The thing about blogs is.. it's very selective. Which annoys me sometimes. Okay nevermind. It can just get fucking irritating, that's all.

You know how sometimes you just feel so uninspired (is there even such a word) ? Well, I woke up this morning and felt so weird. Like I couldnt put my finger to whatever it was. I switched on the tv, and hello there, you nice inspiring movie! (:

I love things like that. How everything has its own path and it all ends up tying in with everything else so very nicely.

Smells like teen spirit


Everywhere yet nowhere at the same time. I like the contrast.

My eyes are hurting from the glare of the screen. This is a sign that #1, I'll lose my perfect eyesight soon enough and #2, someone should smash this thing to prevent #1 from happenning.

Or I could just dye my cats green for my 30min "eye break", since they're always up late with me on the table/my lap/within my view.

These couple of days got me thinking about insecure people and insecurities. Several instances. Hmm. It's part sad, part disturbing, part annoying and yeah, part pathetic.

It is also quite sad how people can find it easier to tell a stranger/someone they're not close to the whole truth, but when it comes to someone they're good friends with, they can't. It's like there's this barrier. The whole please him/her dont mess things up thing? That's just messed up shit.

No, I'm not talking about best friends, cos if you can't tell them anything/everything, screw the label then. Neither am I aiming that (above para) to anyone in particular, in case you feel that way for some odd reason.

When he asked me that day, it suddenly hit me. The revelation about those four years.

I do not know how to describe it. I cannot describe it. I simply can't. All I know, is that it's rather depressing.

I have not seen my parents (not preoperly) in three days and I miss them.

I should cut the rude habits. It gets old and it's definitely not cute/smart anymore now that I've left secondary school. (I doubt it ever was, but bear with me here) I mean the last thing I want is for them to have problems with me right, cos it's so unnecessary. Like, gosh, I'm not 5, yknow?

I need a one week long job. Anybody? Cos I dont like working there anymore. The hours kill, but I want need the cash -so bad. I really do. There are so many things I need to get. Why can't my parents spoil me?

Anyways, I've been listening to very different songs of late. I'm quite surprised by what I like, actually. Hahah.

Tomorrow should be fun, cos it's been a long while since I last hit town. I'm hoping Mama's in a great mood tmr when she wakes up. I need the money! ARGH. I hate being penniless.

So ready to make nice

I thought Natalie Maines was really adorable last night! Especially when she did that sort of Simpsons impersonation! And bloody hell! She's got Adrian Pasdar every night! I had no idea the Older Petrelli Brother's married even! Hahah.

Anyways yeah, The Dixie Chicks, the biggest winners of the night bagged a grand total of FIVE Grammys! But hey, the Song of the Year is really really nice. (: Easily hooked, yknow?

Thought the Eagles tribute thingy was really good too! I thought generally it was better than last year's at least? Performances were better. Way better. The John Legend/Corrine Bailey Rae/John Mayor (He got Best Pop Vocal!) one was just super. AHHH! And Christina! She was smokin' as usual. The Dixie Chicks gave a great performance too. Oh Justin was pretty darn sexy I have to say.

Apparently, Mary J Blige (Big Winner #2), thanked 55 people when she received her award. Haha!

Oh my gosh! The My Grammy Moment thing is such a cute idea! Man, the girl, (I honestly forgot her name) really worked it on stage with Justin Timberlake and everything! I mean, she has all of five seconds to compose herself, after it was announced she won, and sing in front of the world basically with Sexy JT!!! Respect, man. Hahah.

Speaking of him, The Longest Music Video Everr. Though there will be a shorter version, are you crazy, will MTV even play a song that long!? Yeah, so it's pretty sexy typical Timberlake style. (Gone which is Nsync but same thing, Senorita, Sexyback, every single one. There's a pattern right? I'm not wrong here?) Oh, while you're there, check out the comments. I admit, I didnt exactly stay put watching the whole thing. Hello, it was 3 hours! But of course I didnt miss the great parts. :D So I did get bored several times, waiting for Scarlett Johansson (who was pretty hot in above vid) to hurry say it's over so I can catch the next show on Starworld!

90s baby

I think music of the 90s is really really good. Like the whole decade long! Or maybe it's all because of all these kinda old skool shows I keep watching? 90s music=way cool

Anyway, I am itching to start school. So so friggin itching!
I like to spend time on my bed now

Ok, so guess what this dumbass just did? I felt a sneeze coming, so I turned to my left. Thing is, the fan's there so my sneeze flew back right at my face. Grr. Why do these kinda stupidifying things keep happening to me!?

Anyways, met up with Muddos and Najib for dinner at Mas Ayu and chilling at Starbucks just now. Siglap is Love.

So I got my drink in Venti since Najib agreed to share with me and "choose whatever [I] want". But he didnt end up liking what I got so he didnt want to split no more!!!! *makes a face

Last night, we also discovered bloody loser as hell people. (SHHHHH) For real ok. (was about to add on one more comment but that would just be way obvious so-)

Highlight of the day was Mud admitting something really really sweet to us! It was just a wham! smack! super "AWWWW" moment okay! Was really touched! Haha. And the way he said it right, was like, full of passion and he really meant it. Like you know, it was hard for the words to come out cos he really meant it kinda thing? AWWWWW. I love you two man. Like a lot a alot.

Oh yeah! Aniszah slept over ytd. On the phone (she was asking me abt the buses she can take from Chinatown; her mum's office place) and she mentioned that she was hungry. So I went downstairs, bought IndoMee and cooked it for her ok! How bloody sweet am I!

(And that totally reminded me of Lee and how we'd make our own meals whenever I'm over at her place to just watch Oprah or some DVDs or just gossip and nice shit like that. (: )

But ah, when she reached, it was already cold so yeah. Haha.

We camped out in front of the tv, the 3 of us (plus brother) watching Saw followed by House of Wax. Hooray for Horror! But they are both super lousy. Cos I was the only one awake at the end of the second movie.

I swear I think the way Paige died was so effing hilarious. I remember the whole bunch of us laughing about it at Sophia's (Delph's New Year sleepover).

Anyway, yeah. I only slept 8hours today cos stupid Niz kept bugging to wake me up. "You already have eight hours of sleep! I counted! Wake uppppppp Hudaaaaa. Get upppp. Nowww."

OH OH OH. Great news. You know how for the past couple of months I can usually only see half my bed if not nothing at all and behaving like such a gypsy sleeping in other places in the house?

Well, that my friends, is the stinky past! Cos while waiting for House of Wax to start, I cleaned up my bed! Like wow right!

My nose was overused though. Had to sniff out the laundry and separate the dirty from the clean. Although I kinda decided after a while that since the dirty, clean and semi-clean were kinda mixed they're all considered dirty right?

Which means that currently half my wardrobe is gone. To the washing machine. Bummer.

Also changed my sheets! Now it's all nice and clean and totally sleep-able. Next stop, The Terrible Table.

So anyway, had a nice chat on my dining table, us three ladies in the house (mother, Niz and I) just now for like a good 2 hours+! Yay for great convos! (:

Now I'm really starting to love her.
